I’m hopeful you enjoyed the last post. In this deeper dive, we’re going to start looking at some of the historical background and practical techniques that expand on the ideas we’ve touched upon—and how they can be applied in meaningful ways today.

My academic background is in early and late-antique biblical studies, especially first and fifth century texts, with a strong emphasis on social anthropology. Over time, my path took an unexpected but welcome turn toward psychology and therapeutic practice. These days, I try to braid all of it together—scripture, social theory, spiritual healing—into a living tradition that can respond to real human need.

This post is part of that effort. Here, you’ll find additional prayers and magical techniques related to Asclepius, drawn from Greco-Egyptian and early Christian sources, with applications for ritual therapy, inner healing, and solidarity in what are, undeniably, strange new times. Whether you’re working with art, incense, or guided visualization, the goal remains the same: not just personal transformation, but the cultivation of shared resilience. In doing this let’s dive a little deeper into Asclepius himself.
